The event is a celebration of the convergence between the need for innovation, a better fashion industry and pushing principles such ad sustainability which is increasingly popular among many Angolan designers. On day one celebrity singers Ary and Perola graced the stage with moments of combined music and fashion. Special guest was Murilo Rosa. Their collections also emphasized on monochrome colours refering to the purity of their manufacturing techniques. Designers such as Alex Kangala, Soraya de Piedade, Geraldo Fashion and Fiu Black hit the runway and represented Angola. Big attractions from abroad were Taibo Bacar from Mozambique, Thula Sindi from South Africa and Micaela Oliveira, The event is now in it’s 7th edition and only growing stronger.
