However, 2013 gave birth to a number of fashion orientated TV shows in Ghana, FASHIONgh, Glitterati and Fashion Coast. Not to sure on the status of the last two but FASHIONgh is apparently the only show that is still consistent. The first episode, seen above/below, sees host Kofi Liang visit the work shop of designer Elike Nkansa whom is introduced as one of Ghana’s most celebrated designer. This might need looking into as the name is new to us, another reason to appreciate the show. Nevertheless, as seen on the show, his work is fabulous. Elike takes Kofi through the journey of dress make in a 45 minute episode. Very educative to aspiring designers.
