Share FacebookTwitterPinterestLinkedinWhatsappTelegramEmail 201 Guess who was in Kenya this christmas? None other than movie producer and director Shelton Jackson aka Spike Lee. The legendary movie icon known for producing movies such as Malcom X starring Denzel Washington, Love and Basketball, The Inside Man and Michael Jackson’s documentary Bad was in Kenya to celebrate the holidays. He spent Christmas at the Maasai Mara national reserve where he paid homage to deceased friends and important influencers by planting a tree for each of them. These included Muhammad Ali, Michael Jackson, Prince, Notorious BIG, David Bowie, Phife Dawg and recently deceased George Michael. He also did not forget his favourite basketball team the New York Knicks and his hood Brooklyn. He posted each tree he planted with a wooden sign for each of his celebrity friends and posed with local Maasai. Who Knew That The Mighty Maasai Warriors Favorite Color Is The Same Orange And Blue Of Our Beloved New York Knickerbockers? Orange And Blue Skies Forever. YA-DIG? SHO-NUFF.
