On March 22, 2025, the British Council in Accra became the epicenter of fashion innovation, hosting the TechStitched Fashion Show—a collaborative endeavor by FashionGHANA, Accra Fashion Week, and the British Council. This event spotlighted the fusion of technology and traditional African fashion, with Alkebulan Prints emerging as a standout participant along side FOHRELLA, FashionGHANA and Style By Magbrien.

Alkebulan Prints, is dedicated to decolonizing Africa’s image through fashion. The brand seamlessly blends traditional African prints, notably Ankara, with contemporary designs, offering modern wear that resonates with Africans in the diaspora. By collaborating directly with skilled artisans and tailors, Alkebulan Prints ensures each garment embodies authentic African culture and craftsmanship.

The TechStitched Fashion Show serves as a platform where innovation meets tradition within the African fashion landscape. Presented by the British Council Ethiopia in partnership with the Hub of Africa Fashion Week, the program fosters collaboration and cultural exchange among designers from Africa’s leading fashion capitals, including Ghana.

During the showcase, Alkebulan Prints captivated the audience with a collection that epitomized the harmony between Africa’s rich textile heritage and modern design sensibilities. Models adorned in vibrant Ankara fabrics strutted the runway, each piece narrating a story of cultural pride and contemporary elegance.
