Selection Process The judgment and voting to select the winner for FashionGHANA Honours & Awards will be constructed via 3 categories. The first section will be via public voting (60%), the second will be by the FashionGHANA.com team (10%), and the third section will be by professional individuals (30%). All of which will be outlined for each category below. PUBLIC VOTING 60% Some categories will have their public voting executed via text messaging and others via online voting on the website. Internationally relative groups, groups relating to celebrities with be executed online. As all social media methods can be compromised via cheating, all online voting will be executed here on www.FashionGHANA.com/awards. To avoid cheating via the website by false email accounts or hiding ip, voting will constitute of a registration process, tedious but genuine. All voting details will be identified on the specific nominee’s card. HOW TO VOTE (60%) FashionGHANA.com Awards works towards being a more public-orientated award event giving the majority of the decision to the public. FashionGHANA.com TEAM 10% Judgment by our staff will constitute 10 percent of a nominee’s score. This will constitute of the nominee’s efforts in their line of work solely pertaining to activities from the previous year span prior to their nominee announcement. Areas of consideration will fall in the fields of branding, public presence, as well as judging by their activities and/or talents in relation to international standards. JUDGES 30% Each field will have judges aligned to set the major score. These are individuals that are related clients, beneficiaries, or professional overseers of the service or talents rendered by the field. Judges will be selected carefully to not have previous relations with shortlisted nominees and will be revealed before the show. All judges will be asked to carefully review the nominees strictly based on the term, or year of review. Judges will be asked to review nominees based on their related experience in their industry as well as their social media platforms, website, google, and general presentation across the whole year. TOTAL Score counts will be strictly mathematical and made visible to nominees at the requests only after the event. Judge’s total scores may be unveiled if requested, but individual judge’s scores will not. ETHICS We would like all nominees and supporters and fans to respect that awards are simply ceremonies to recognize the talent and hard work of various individuals in a certain field during a certain period. Any individual that wins an award over another doesn’t imply they are better or will be more successful in the near future, it only means that by the subjective opinion of a said number of human beings they have outperformed others within that field in the year ending. We will kindly ask all nominees and their supporters to not get over-emotional over the awards, learn to respect their comrades and understand that each and every nominee is hardworking and also feels entitled to recognition.
