Brandy Rayana Norwood, better known by her mononym Brandy, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, actress, and businesswoman. Born into a musical family in McComb, Mississippi, Norwood was raised in Carson, California, beginning her career as a backing vocalist for teen groups.

Her career kicked off after she released her classic RnB album Brandy. She continued to follow up with more classics and became a worldwide recognizable face when she starred in the show ‘Moesha’ as the lead actress.

Brandy Is A Mum

Despite the fact she still looks as young as she started, Brandy is actually a mother. She is the mother to fashion designer and CEO of Privileged Apparel, Sy’Rai Smith.
