The Memphis In May Festival selects a country every year to celebrate during the festive season and this year it happened to select Ghana. Within the month-long of festivities, a week is dedicated to the selected country where it introduces its culture to the people of Memphis, this includes food, fashion, music, and more. The musical performances included the likes of Sarkodie and Stonebwoy, and for the fashion segment, the organization partnered with Accra Fashion Week for its fashion show event titled the Kente & Kitenga Champagne Brunch. Amongst other designers, the new fashion brand Broots Fashion also showcased on the night. See the images below.
