Rihanna has just broken another major fashion milestone by featuring plus size models during her recent Savage x Fenty Vol.2 show currently streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime, for a long time now the fashion industry hasn’t seen a lot of inclusivity well especially for men it has always been a certain type of representation which means “defined pecs and a rugby-ish build” so for men like Steven G who fronts the XXL Savage x Fenty male collection and Lizzo this is groundbreaking as lots of people feel like they are a part of a community that still knows that people like them still exist.

Although the Savage Vol.2 show  over the last couple of days have seen a few mixed reactions from fans which the singer has come out to apologize, this one feat by the singer and her team have endeared her to many people who were feeling left out to a certain kind of beauty requirement which they couldn’t match up to.

 

Men and even women who see themselves in her show have taken to social media to praise Rihanna’s inclusion and body diversity.

“I just realized [I] have never seen a male model with a body type close to mine that wasn’t there as a joke. Seeing this made me really happy,”

Another plus-size male model featured in the Savage x Fenty show, who goes by oouizz, also gave thanks to Rihanna for allowing him to to be part of the representation. “WE MADE HISTORY! The #SAVAGEXFENTYSHOW Vol. 2 is oozing with inclusivity and I’m so proud to be a part of this!” Soouizz wrote in an Instagram post.
