Her journey commenced with enrollment at Vogue Style School of Design, presently known as Joyce Ababio Fashion School of Design. Subsequently, she pursued a degree in fashion design and technology at IFA PARIS in France. During her time in France, she had the privilege of interning with prestigious brands such as Emmanuel Ungaro, Imani Ayissi, and Roland Mouret.

Additionally, she gained valuable experience working with Liosaviaroma, a company specializing in luxury fashion brands acquisition. Her time there allowed her to intimately acquaint herself with the materials used by fashion designers for various types of garments and the techniques employed to finish different fabrics. This experience significantly contributed to the quality of her work.

Sedinam Hemade aspires to showcase innovative African fashion and prints on a global scale, demonstrating their continued impact worldwide.

HÈMADE is inspired by renowned brands such as Pistis, Ophelia CROSSLAND, Christie brown, Urban Giant, Elom by Elom and Barkers-wood, a few amongst them are brands she has worked and interned with almost all the brands listed. And their contribution have played a pivotal role in Sedinam journey

Furthermore, she plans to introduce a new luxury collection at Accra Fashion Week—an opulent expression of African luxury. Sedinam Hemade’s plan to revolutionize womanhood in African fashion is one that is set to position her brand as one of the nation’s leading brands, blending couture with ready-to-wear looks.
