To be honest we can literally say the concept of print is slowly moving from the description of African fashion to print fashion, because production is now extending from various corners and creatives who have never stepped foot on the land nor have any knowledge about it.

 

Nevertheless, there are sentiments of Africa that will forever remain in our minds on the sight of all print related fashion, or at least ones that hold certain colors. And those sentiments also appear with traditional and cultural traits.

And despite the vast amount of nudity in Africa, when it comes to modern African fashion or even modern African culture half naked women or revealing dresses has always been a taboo. So the use of print fashion being modernised towards is definitely causing a stir on social media even on red carpets.

The question is can it be stopped, and if not then what kind of styles can we look forward to seeing. I mean if this print culture hits and dancehall scene, you can honestly forget any attempt to keep it conservative, lolol.
