Kenyan Mother Of Racially Abused H&M Boy Tells Black People “Stop Crying Wolf All The Time”

One question that came to most people’s minds second to ‘What is H&M really trying to do here’ was ‘Who is this boys mother and why would she allow any company to use him to promote a top with Monkey In The Jungle as a black boy standing next to a white boy wearing a top that states Jungle Survivor Expert.

 

In fact to be honest, I found this more troubling that H&M’s racist act. Why we are buying clothes from these mainstream companies is questionable and the reason why FashionGHANA exists in the first place. However, why a black woman will allow her young son to be a victim of such an insult is questionable. Was the money that good?

Well it seems she Terry Mango has either come to the defense of H&M or possibly maybe just herself with a reply that has been floating on social media since yesterday. It only captions her speaking to critics stating….

“If I Bought the Jumper and put it on hiim and posted it on my pages, would that make me racist?? I get pples opinion, but they are not mine.” It might not make you racist but it makes you a fool putting a shirt on your African son that calls him a monkey in the jungle knowing very well the abuse young black boys face with peers. Especially the dark ones.

She continues “Am the mum and this is one of hundreds of outfits my son has modelled in……stop crying wolf all the time, unnecessary issue here…..get over it” So that’s it folks, get over it. And it’s ladies like her that is why racism continues to prevail, because as long as she is paid then it’s ok to insult black people, despite H&M acknowledging their wrongs.

In all honestly, we don’t know if her comments were general or if she actually wrote these, or addressed to another contributor that provoked such a reaction, however, it’s definitely a one down. Good luck Terry Mango, we all wish your son appreciates our wolf cry and grows up to be better in his understanding of racism than yours.
