Red Carpet, Street Style & Guests; Get The First Look At Benin’s SOB Fashion Week 2016; Day 1

Before even Ghana went printastic, I once recalled visiting a club in Benin and I was amazed with their love for wax prints and African attire. All I recall was, despite Ghanaian being recognised as the hub for African prints you could never walk in a club and see such fashion.

 

Fast forward till today it seems the country is getting more organized with it’s fashion scene, and at least here we have the start of SOB Fashion Week which seems to be pulling together the best of fashion design in Benin and some other francophone countries.

The fashion week seems to have pulled through a lot of designers with an entycing schedule currently going on this week and seen below. The full program of the Fashion Week is as follows:
Tuesday: December 27 at 18h: Benefits Luxury Gust , Oriisha , Wanted Collection , Dahomey , Eldior themed Streetwear.
Wednesday: December 28th 18h: Benefits Beewax , MXDN , Woen Ilga , Puddy Gomez await December 28 to 18h on the theme High Street .
Thursday: December 29 at 18h: Pharl Pharly , Shadaf , Sêmiliko , Felicien Casterman during a parade High Fashion .
Friday: December 30th from 10-20h: Meet the designers of the week but also designers such as: DCOLSAY , WAX , GIANNI FASHION , luxious COLOURS , NOK, NEW ALLURE.
