Ghanaian radio presenter KOD just held a launch party for the 9th edition of Rhythmz on da Runway which is set to take place on the 4th of December 2021 at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), a week prior to Accra Fashion Week’s 5th-anniversary celebration.

The launch night took place on Thursday 7th October at the African Regents hotel and was filled with various media moguls and personalities, as well as models and designers. There were performances by various musicians such as Pat Thomas, Eric Jeshrun, Coach Freeman, and Ackah Blay and much more.

Designers set to showcase are Senyo Foli, Katie O, Details by Neyomi, MUDI, Jesu Segun, Nadrey Laurent, Pernia Couture, Nineteen57, Gloria Sarfo, and Attoh Andoh. They will showcase alongside musical performances from Efya, Afriyie, Sefa, Edem, Adina, Fameye, Miss Floewe from South Africa, Michael Stuckey from the USA and Shatta Wale.

The theme of this edition will be titled ‘The Masquerade,’ to promote the wearing of face masks for the prevention of the spread of COVID-19. Although that wasn’t so present at the launch. Check out some of the fabulous looks captured by us at the party.
