Now this is how you make a fashion statement in a music video, Run Town’s ‘Mad Over You video is about to put a lot of musicians to shame and change the game. As many of continiously shone away from representing African culture in their vids with the exception of the tradition inserts here and there, Run Town has just made a statement with his new video Mad Over You with craft African fashion designs. It may not be the best video, but definitely the best with fashion so far from the modern day African musician.

 

Not only do we see a splash of print throughout the videos, but a depiction of modern African fashion styles. Although it is slowly being embraced now in the pop culture of African fashion, a video such as this could really boost interests of stylists and music video directors to see a more modern take on African designs in their videos.
