Sister Derby also known as Deborah Owusu-Bonsu is a Ghanaian television presenter, musician, model and academic, of Akan origin and a former presenter at e.tv Ghana.

The video for her latest song ‘Chocolate’ premiered 2 months ago end of October 2020. It reflects on a lady who is currently tired of her boyfriend with the main lyrics ‘I no want chocolate no more, hate to see you knocking on that door!’

The song features BPM and it’s the first video the artist has released since her controversial ‘Sweet Ex’ which took a jab at her ex boyfriend Medikal for jumping onto Fella Makafui right after their break up.

Sister Derby Is Not New To Trends

Sister Derby who has walked the path of a fashion designer is no foreigner when it comes to trends, and despite how quirky or awkward she may get at times, style is always a prominent factor in all her activities.

The multi-talented beauty decided to break down the composure of the chocolate video and proving us right, style was an essential piece to the puzzle.

Making The Chocolate Video

She explains how she executed research into modern styles prior to creating the design for her chocolate outfit and worked with young designer Stevie Frenchie for the outfit.

The focus behind the artistry of the music video was Fashion & Colours which was directed by Mtombo.

The video featured a host of talented models by designer Paon of whom she credited and much more.
