Never has Ghana seen so many countries congregate in the city of Accra like it did in the week gone. The fashion week saw designers from over 15 countries and guests from even more attend. What was more surprising was this was only just the first edition.

The 4 day event emerged successful even despite other fashion events that decided to hold on the same day. The event has received international publication from DailyMail to Yahoo news and appeared on Getty Images.

There were many Glitches, such as the event starting roughly 1 hour late on a few days, and much later on Sunday when it clashed with the NPP Political rally. However this did not stop the organizers for putting up a great event.

Also on the night a new star was born, a lady who goes by the name Naa Ayorkor Quaye and will act as the Face of Accra Fashion Week fronting all major bill boards and promotional material for next year.

Many have applauded the organization for setting a new standards of Fashion Week in Ghana and looking forward to what the team will produce in 2017. The Dikab Hotel as well as Darling Hair, Marie Noelle Beauty School acted as the main sponsors of the hotel.
