On the occasion of the “Cup of African Nations 2013 “photographer, Wafaa El Yazid (Paris based photographer) has embarked on a unique project. give a feminine touch to the biggest football competition of the African continent, the idea is simple, she makes a portrait of six native African women, each representing one of the competing countries. They are each made up in the colors of the flags and the result is simply beautiful!

“My African Cup is feminine and colorful,” says Wafaa El Yazid. An excellent initiative… Weldone!
