Afropian is an Ethiopia-based brand with its main focus on closing the gap between Ethiopia and the rest of the world. Their products range from accessories such as clutches, handbags, scarves jewelry etc to home décor.

 Here is a “Baule clutch”. Made of handwoven, hand dyed Baule cloth with a large, bronze Akan gold weight as embellishment.

Another “Baule clutch”, made of handwoven, hand dyed Baule cloth with a chrome-plated bronze Adinkra symbole (this symbol is Mpatapo, the symbol for reconciliation).

“Bracelet clutch”, where the strap doubles as a bracelet. It is made of Ethiopian leather on the outside, wax fabric on the inside and the bracelet/strap is gold-plated bronze Akan weight, as well as West African trade beads.

The price is 60 Euros

“Posta” (envelope, in Amharric, a language of Ethiopia) clucth. Made of metallic Ethiopian fine eather and Vlisco wax. Embellished wigh an ancient, Akan bronze weight.
