Gunfire was exchanged between Taylor’s boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, and LMPD officers. Walker said he believed that the officers were intruders. The LMPD officers fired over twenty shots, Taylor was shot eight times After the arrest of George Floyd’s killers, it wasn’t long before some of the renowned black celebrities started calling for justice for other slain blacks, specifically Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery.
