The autumn-winter collection of designer Loza Maleombho 2016 is finally available. Called Queen Poku, referring to Queen Abla Poku, founder of Baoule ethnicity of West Africa, based in the center of Côte d’Ivoire, this collection is a combination of creativity and finesse.
Its pretty exciting story with accents of feminism has made her one of the most prominent African sovereign. One reason why Loza has decided to name its collection Poku. It shows a good claim to the important place of women in this matriarchal tradition of society.
