Kinshasa Fashion Week 2013 took place between the 26-28th of July, showcasing 19 designers and creating a beautiful international runway platform for local Congolese designers (Click here to see the full list of all 19 designers). The week also featured two of Africa’s shining lights, South Africa’s David Tlale and Alain Naiva from Côte d’Ivoire, who ascended to the DRC to headline a line-up the event decorated with Congolese distinguished designers.
