Started modeling very young at the age of 14in 2012 when discovered by Da Banda and Vaiss Models in the participation for Elite Model Look CV. Ever since her win she went on to Elite Model Look international, which obviously doesn’t accept black model winners on that level. Despite that she still continued and ended up working in France under Elite Models management which led her to participated in Paris Fashion Week S/S13 working for mainstream European labels such as Louis Vuitton and more. Alecia Morais might just be one of the most successful models in and out of Africa. Her absence from our top 10 models list of 2014 was based on the misunderstanding that she was now based abroad since her participation in Elite Model Look, whilst the list focused on top African models IN Africa. Little did we know, the classic looking model had been very engaged back and forth with some of Cape Verde’s top shows and working in Africa. Strictly our fault as she does belong to the list, and we will keep a closer eye on her from here on. But for now check out her images and her stats.
