Finding the right bra size is difficult, many women don’t realize they are wearing the wrong size bras until they get to know about it from a professional or the bra shop. Most ladies wear bras that are too large at the back and too small in the cups, although sizing can vary slightly between brands, one must find the actual size she wears. Here are some laid down signs for you to know that you are not wearing the right bra size- Under-wire poking the sides of your breasts More Articles You Would Love Nigeria’s Salmah Guzel Presents Her Spring/Summer 2016 Look Book Featuring Olajumoke Orisaguna Ladumni Lambo, Fruche, Deji Eniola, Kiki Kamanu & Amede @ Lagos Fashion & Design Week 2016, Day 2 #LFDW breast bulging out over the top, side, down of the bra bra that hikes up when you lift your arms strapless bra slipping down back of the band is riding up wrinkling in the cups Bear in mind that weight gain or loss can cause you to change a bra size Now lets dig into finding the right bra size- Step 1 Determine your band size but measuring around the bottom band of the bra, this can be done by wearing a non-padded bra or while being bra-less. This can be done by yourself or a professional. The measuring tape should be snug and very leveled. Round the number you get to the nearest whole number. Add 4 inches if it is even and 5 if it is odd. Your band size should be the sum of this calculation. Step 2 Take your bust measurement. Wrap the measuring tape somehow loosely around the fullest part of your breast( the nipple area). take notice of the number and round it up the nearest whole number. Step 3 calculate your bras cup size by Subtracting your band size from your bust measurement and refer to chart. Example: 37 inches (bust) – 34 inches (band) = 3 inches. That’s a 34C. Now lets try and see if a particular bra style fits perfectly: Bend forward at the waist, then slip on the bra and hook it. This ensures your breasts are completely in the cups. Adjust the band. The back of the bra should be level with the front. Make sure the bra is not too loose. You should be able to slide only one finger underneath the band. Fix falling straps. First, tighten the band, then shorten the straps. Put on a close-fitting shirt over the bra. If the cups pucker or your breasts bulge, you’re not wearing the correct size. Look at yourself sideways in a mirror. Your breasts should sit midway between your shoulders and elbows. If not, you need a more supportive and better-fitting bra. If you need to go down a cup size for fit, go up one band size, and vice versa. For example, if a 34C is too big for you, move to a 36B. Choose a bra that fits perfectly when secured on the outermost hook. As the bra loosens over time, make the band taut by moving toward the tightest hook. african fashionbrafashionfittingmeasurementright brasizesstyletipswomen Share FacebookTwitterPinterestLinkedinWhatsappTelegramEmail maame Pr Manager for FashionGHANA. Getting a perfect bra is “everything” for a lady. The best way is to talk to a professional at the shop. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply to Shirley Hill Cancel ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment. This site uses Akismet to reduce spam.
