Beverly Naya is a British-born Nigerian actress. She won Most Promising Talent at the 2010 Best of Nollywood Awards. She also won the award for Fast Rising Actress at the 2011 City People Entertainment Awards.
After 2 weeks of teasing her social media followers of something to come under the name ‘Be Naya’ and encouraging them to like the mysterious page, she has finally revealed what is behind ‘Be Naya’.
The actress revealed that ‘Be Naya’ under @benaya_official on instagram is her own clothing brand. She took to the page to publish an image of a model stunning in African print with the following captions…

Can Beverly Naya Do It?
Beverly Naya is the latest African celebrity to launch a clothing line, something that has little to no longevity in Ghana.
In Ghana, we have witnessed on numerous occasions many social media figures and celebrities launch clothing lines that either fail or don’t get to see success beyond their Instagram pages.
Celebrity Brands In Ghana Continue To Fail
Fella Makafui Frimpong is the latest celebrity to shut down shop with FM clothing, whilst Yvonne Nelson, Okyeame Kwame, and more struggle to make light of their fashion brands.
Currently, to date, Salma Mumin is the only celebrity whose line ‘Lure by Salma’ seems to be in full existence. However, it is doing so with much less noise than that she started with.
Keep It Positive!
Let’s see if Be Naya will change the tides or go with the flow and be out of the market next year. Despite the pessimistic tone, we wish her all the best with her brand and would be more than willing to support and update our readers with Be Naya updates.

Ghana’s leading fashion event Accra Fashion Week is scheduled for 7-11 December 2022 following their 5th-year celebration last year in 2021. Accra Fashion Week is a platform for African designers that can be compared to fashion weeks across the major capitals. It aims to fill the void which sees tremendous creativity and culture across the continent with the absence of an operating fashion infrastructure.
The epic event took place at Ghana Dubai in Accra, and saw models march down the steps from the Kwame Nkrumah Monument whilst being followed by a spotlight, before circulating the central fountains. Memories of the exciting night still give chills as guests revisit the experience on youtube.
However, rest assured that 2022 is going to be even more exciting with greater performances and an upgraded designer collection. FashionGHANA.com is sure to bring you the exclusives we did on www.FashionGHANA.com/TV. All last year’s shows are available to watch on youtube. Designer’s registration is ongoing on the AccraFashionWeek.org website.
