Fashion model Engracia Afua K Mofuman just scooped the title for Miss Universe Ghana 2022, and will represent Ghana at the next Miss Universe in 2022.
After the extensive and mind-boggling ‘vote for me’, ‘vote for me’, ‘vote for me’ that innocent victims in Ghana were tortured with during the past few weeks, the Miss Universe Ghana 2021 contestants can finally put their demands for votes to an end as a new selected Miss Universe Ghana has been selected.
Engracia is now the successor to Naa Morkor who was a runner-up in last years edition but represented Ghana at Miss Universe this year as the original winner couldn’t due to unforeseen circumstances. Her runners-up were as follows; 1st Runner-Up Dorothy Ndedekojo and 2nd Runner-Up Magali Ekab.
Engracia who also has Gabonese roots has been a fashion model in Ghana for the past 5 years, she has modeled on almost every runway in Ghana as well as shot with most of the renowned photographers. Her win will definitely come as a boost to any aspiring celebrity status she may have been seeking. She recently trademarked her look after executing shoots with various hairstyles when she published images of her fully bald head.
She was crowned in a virtual setting that was shown live on Joy Prime and youtube, as well as engaged in a preliminary competition that took place at the black star square similar to that of Accra Fashion Week’s virtual edition in 2020 as seen below.
Engracia is now the second model to hold a queen title in 2021 next to Innocentia who also scooped the Face Of Accra Fashion Week 2021 title last week.
Prior to 2017, the Miss Universe Ghana title laid fairly idle, and Ghanaian reps were selected via a simple casting-like process until former beauty queen Menaye Donkor Muntari acquired the Miss Universe Franchise in 2017.

(ELIA) from the first edition in 2008 up to 12th successfully. AALF brings together tanners, footwear and

Uyo Fashion Week 2022 & SME Bazaar and Fair is a week long event that brings together elements of education, entertainment, and capacity building, using fashion as the driver.
