FIAFA returns for its 3rd annual season and is scheduled for April 12th and 13th, 2013. The show is a sub-entity of Fredash Model Management and one of Cameroon’s most popular fashion events. I am usually skeptical of fashion shows organized by modeling agencies, as they tend to miss the essence of a fashion show were creating a platform for designers and fashion is concerns, and mainly focused on exhibiting their models.
Nevertheless, FIAFA has created a very popular name within its 3 years of existence, and with the supporting press and limited opportunities for Cameroon designers, this still remains one of the largest national opportunities. The outline of FIAFA by Fredash Model Management follows below…
Fredash International Annual Fashion Avenue (FIAFA) is an annual international event with models and fashion designers across Cameroon and Africa It’s an event where we promote young fashion designers/ models and showcase designs of professional fashion designers and models and also the rich Cultural and Touristic values of Cameroon and Africa.
FIAFA is an event that has become phenomenal in Cameroon since its inscription in 2011 and to date. This fashion and cultural event which is unique and can be ranked among the best events in Cameroon has truly delivered in its might, style, elegance, and professional status within the state in the past years.
This event usually brings together at least 500 persons like economic operators, top administrative authorities, and students from Universities across the country and other institutions, media outfits, and stakeholders of Cultural, Tourism, magazines, and the entertainment industry.
