In fact everyday we question why our said bloggers follow them to give them that popularity. Outside of the talented ones, from the Wendy Shays to the Shatta Wales, Sarkodies and Nana Akua Addos and more, there is a big pool of individuals that are celebrities in Ghana simply because they are loud, they are short, they have bad grammar, they have curves, they insult on social media and have big bums or boobs. And this explains why when Cardi B did not show up to meet them, instead of the Ghanaian public to feel disappointed, the whole social media made a mock out of her absense, not because not showing up is funny, but because the Ghanaian society lacks respect for over 50% of what we call celebrities. Despite this, Cardi B eventually made it to the said meet and greet and addressed the displeasure of several Ghanaian stars who attended her Meet and Greet event at the Kempinski Hotel In Accra, On Sunday. The even which was scheduled for 12 noon was eventually postponed to 8.30 pm, after most guests had waited for hours for the rapper to make an appearance. The meet and greet finally took place and Cardi B explained that it wasn’t her intention to disrespect the guest that had been waiting for her for hours. She made it clear that she wasn’t a stuck up Hollywood star for that to happen. According to her, she was not originally aware of the Meet and Greet event and when she was told about it later in the day, she had a stomach upset just when she was getting ready for it.
