Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, known professionally as Cardi B, is an American rapper, songwriter, and actress. Born in Manhattan and raised in the Bronx, New York City, she became an Internet celebrity by achieving popularity on Vine and Instagram.
For those that don’t know, she also have a live stream show on facebook called Cardi Tries on her page, and on it Cardi B Gets Africanized. This sees the celebrity engage in various social circles trying out various things.

In the first episode (which we are a bit late on) Cardi B took some dance classes, African dance classes to be precise.
She wore a headwrap as well as a waist wrap over black spandex styled by US based print fanatics ‘AllThingsAnkara’, with earrings by Trufacebygrace, and was learning wine and grind to hard hitting African drum beats.

Dancing The Dunun
Cardi tried ballet as well as the Dunun dance. The Dunun dance, also known as the Dundun dance, is a West-African dance combining stick drumming and dance.
The I Like It hitmaker is seen wearing an African print wrapper tied around her waist with matching head gear.
Cardi B, who recently scooped Billboard’s Woman of the Year award, loved the African outfit she wore and said it felt like it was the one for her.
