Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, known professionally as Cardi B, is an American rapper, songwriter, and television personality. Born and raised in New York City, she became an Internet celebrity by achieving popularity on Vine and Instagram.
Cardi B has finally spoken out about Akuapem Poloo’s arrest. Akuapem Poloo who has consistently addressed the international star as her twinnie, met Cardi B during Ghana’s year of return when the rapstar had a meet and greet with a number of individuals.
During this time Akuapem Poloo challenged Cardi B to the most cringing twerk competition, watch it below.
Ever since this humiliating (or fun to some people) moment, the two have tweeted each other from time to time.
As you would have seen on our blog yesterday, Akuapem Poloo was sentenced to 90 days in prison for posing fully nude with her son, in images that were published online in 2020.
Well it caught up with her, and finally Cardi B tweeted on the matter. In a response to @Afromusik_TV who wrote…
@iamcardib your twinee in Ghana, Akuapem Poloo has been sentenced to 90 days imprisonment for posting naked photos together with her son on her son’s birthday in June 2020. what is your take on this Cardi????
Cardi B Replied I seen a lot of Americans do photoshoots like that .Even tho is not my style I don’t think she was going for sexual more going the natural idea.I think jail is a bit harsh .Maybe social media probation or community service.
See the tweet below.
