We create our ecosystem and we live it, we live it freely, we live it passionately and we live it without restraint.” Said Adama Paris. A prime theme for this year’s Dakar Fashion Week was ‘Inclusiveness’, a theme that granted patrons the comfort to witness models of all sizes execute strides across the runway laid ahead of the baobab tree. The level of creativity showcased was more than ecstatic, culturally infused designs complemented with well decorated and exquisite handmade jewelry adorned by attractive models made in a very natural setting conceived an atmosphere never engineered anywhere in the world. The aim of returning to the Baobab forest for the 2021 edition was to remind participants of the world’s objective to operate in a sustainable way, in fashion, and more.
