If the premier edition of Ecowas Fashion Week lives up to it’s name, then it is set to be a great implementation for fashion in the West African region. The event will feature designers and models from all over West Africa. The event will commence in Mid November and will be covered by various and confirmed international media.

Joan Okorodudu, founder of Ecowas Fashion Week and Nigeria’s Next Super Model, and owner of African Fashion Network and Nigeria’s will be arriving in Ghana next week with her team regarding the participation of the Ghanaian embassy. Within this week, there will be an audition to select models from Ghana to participate in Ecowas Fashion Week 2013. Legendary Nigerian Designer Deola Sagoe is already listed to showcase on the runway.
Models and agents from other parts of West Africa have been asked to send the model cards to [email protected] Selected models will be flown to Lagos Nigeria for the premier edition of Ecowas Fashion Week. Note that photos will be forwarded to the producers asap who will execute the final selection.
