“All That (Stolen) Money And Still Couldn’t Buy A Good Wig” – Efia Odo Roasts Corrupt Politician Cecilia Daapah

Efia Odo, a popular singer and social figure from Ghana, has playfully criticized the embattled former Minister of Sanitation, Cecilia Dapaah, regarding the scandal involving the alleged stolen funds.

Cecilia Abena Dapaah, the Sanitation Minister, faced a public controversy in July 2023 when court documents revealed that two of her household staff members were accused of embezzling significant amounts of money and valuable items from her possession.

Among the items stolen were approximately $1 million and $300,000 in cash, along with a collection of valuable clothing and jewelry.

Efia Odo took aim at the sanitation minister, highlighting her lack of effort in enhancing her appearance despite having access to substantial resources. This critique was shared through Efia Odo’s Twitter account.

One particular aspect that caught Efia Odo’s attention was the poor quality of Cecilia Dapaah’s wigs, which she humorously commented on.
