With so much textile success in the East African country Ethiopia, one would would expect to see a major fashion modern culture. However, with the uniformed tradition of Ethiopia, there is a standard look followed by most women which perpetrates the fashion culture of clients to tailors relationship.
Never the less, there are always organizations and individuals that create platforms to identify the alternatives, and in Addis Ababa Clairvoyant Model Agency is taking this step. The organization is now in preparation for its 2015 edition of Hub Of Africa Fashion Week.
The team recently completed their campaign/promo shoot for the event which is circulating social media, which has the whole nation excited about the follow up.
Last year, designers from around the world participated in the show, a few listed were, Katungulu Mwendwa, Sandstorm and Kepha Maina from Kenya, Mafi (Ethiopia), Kahindo Mateene (DRC), Abugida (Ethiopia), Taibo Bacar (Mozambique), Doreen Mashika (Zanzibar), Mataano (Somalia), Rooi (Nigeria), Yohannes sisters (Ethiopia), Sheria Ngowi (Tanzania) and Ruald Rheeder (South Africa).
