For the love of Ankara We all love the vibrant ambiance that comes with a great ankara piece. It announces you when you enter into a room, which might come in handy when the fashion week madness begins. Ankara pieces can be very easy and won’t give you stress when it comes to styling it up or down. Check out this ankara outfit! It’s fun, vibrant and gives just the right amount of ‘umph’ to get you noticed as you shuttle between shows. 2. The Serious Show-Goer This outfit shows you’re serious about your fashion shows. It is comfortable, stylish and very versatile. You can button down the top for a more sultry appeal, add a waist belt and brooch to spice things up, or even rock it with some sneakers for a sporty vibe. 3. The Sexy Show-Goer Why not add some sex appeal while you attend that Lisa Folawiyo showcase? A short little black dress or a sultry see-through dress is great for bringing out your inner vixen. These 2 looks would be great for the late shows and can transition into a hot outfit for some night parties. 4. Pastels and Bohemian Beauties Rocking some beautifully hued outfits is another great way to go. Try out a Bohemian look with some free flowing dresses with sheer detailing, or a cutesy mini dress with tulle and embellishments to add that girly feel to your overall look. They’re great looking outfits that allow for free movement while keeping you stylish. 5. The Skirt Lover Give your look a fun and flirty feel with a skirt! You can make a statement with a hot cut-out skirt in vibrant colours, or you can still make a statement with a vibrant ankara skirt. My advice would be to make sure you pair the statement skirt with something tame like a white shirt, or a top in nude or solid colours. 6. I Look Fab in Culottes Culottes are a stylish, classy and easy way to rock the fashion week in style. Try out a print combination that would make you stand out, and take charge of the room. It’s easy, breezy and can be rocked with flat shoes or heels. 7. The Monotone Stylista Sane-coloured outfits pack a punch too! I love this trend because it can be styled easily and dressed up or down. Why not get something similar to those below; the red lace dress is pretty and more modest, while the white dress is more flirty and girly and would allow you show off your legs as you catch up with all the fashionable happenings. 8. Chic in Blazers/Trench City A blazer or trench coat is a great addition to your look for fashion week. It can be a great covering for the evenings and adds some definition and depth to your entire look. These 2 outfits; one a print jackets & trouser set paired with a black tank top; and the other a mini dress with baby doll collars and long sleeves paired with a white trench would look great at night. They both offer great outfits and can be dressed up with heels. 9. The Classic Girl Last but not least, you can also go for the classic look – a black statement little black dress or top. Both looks pack a punch and lay a great foundation for some colour. You can go big or go home with bold accessories or a hat and the pieces can be worn from day to night.
