FashionGHANA: Can you explain to everyone why you call yourrself Greg Jones the chef?
@gregjonez_defashionchef: I call myself GREG JONEZ-de fashion chef because once a chef, always a chef and when am in the kitchen cooking, the kind of passion I put into cooking is the same or even more I put in when mixing fabrics, there are two major things I don’t take for granted when cooking is the taste and garnishing,so when I am cooking my fabrics,i consider my details as the taste and the as garnishing as the creativity in my designs. In a nut shell I take my designing in the same process as of cooking.
FashionGHANA: What motivated your move from cooking to fashion?
@gregjonez_defashionchef: I moved from cooking to fashion because i developed more love for fashion and I was also inspire to go into fashion because when I graduated from modelling school, when I go for auditions I get turned down not because I was not good but because I am not tall and I realised there so many like me out there,so being a fashion designer i can use my platform to the promote good Petit models in Ghana
FashionGHANA: How would u compare the two? Cooking and fashion designing?
@gregjonez_defashionchef: Comparing fashion to cooking,Fashion is a lucrative as cooking but you excelling in both fields depends on how nice your product is and also how you brand yourself.
