African print is still evolving, the wax print phenomenon that kicked off in 2015 and became a vital part of the world of fashion in 2017 has seen it own exotic trends over the years.
In the early days, it was a taboo for many fashionistas to mix print, a very distasteful look that was easily denounced by fashion critics. In transition, African print fashion went from traditional looks to very casual looks to even very revealing looks.
It soon graduated to what many termed as modern African fashion looks. The emphasized on clothes where the designers mixed prints with plain fabrics.
