Popular event FIMA a bi-annual event (every two years) that takes place in the desert filled country Niger. The event has adjusted to the concept of relocating countries after it was interrupted by Boko Haram in 2015 as seen below.

The event was swiftly moved to Morocco during that year, making a big splash onto the scene with a well-produced and attractive show. In 2020, the extravagant ceremony heavily exhibiting African couture experienced more delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, leaving its fanatics wondering what will come of the show.
Well, they can look no further, FIMA (Festival International de la Mode en Afrique) is set to return in 2021 as announced by organisers on social media platforms. The event fathered and founded by Alphadi aka the Magician of The Desert has announced FIMA for 2021 will take place in Cote d’Ivoire.
A flier (below) which is now surfacing the web acknowledged Abidjan as the new host for the show, as well as the e-casting details for interested models.
FIMA is an event that usually features designers and models mainly from the francophone sectors of Africa but inclusive to all others.
