Nafeesah Terry is a swimwear stunner who created her social media personality and brand @FoshPosh. She has worked as a model for major artists such as Megan The Stallion, Future, Busta Rhymes, Anderson Pak, and much more. But more than a video vixen she has also walked the runway for both New York Fashion Week and Miami Swim Week. She was born and raised in New Jersey. Her story has not been an easy journey since her mum passed away from lung cancer when she was only 13 years old, leaving her dad a widower. She was then raised by him who later passed away from cancer when she reached the age of 21. Grief has been a big part of Nafeesah Terry’s life but she managed to turn it all around when she began stepping into the light of fashion and modeling, proving no situation is final. We sat down to talk to the Instagram star about living life as a top testosterone magnet and how she keeps up with life as a popular model.6How does it feel to be so popular for your beauty? It’s interesting for sure. But I don’t want to just be known for what I look like. I aspire to give insight to others so that they can live a more positive fulfilling life. I’m really into mental health awareness and advocating for mental and physical health I believe it’s so important to take care of yourself. That way you live a longer healthier life for the people you love. 5What downsides would you let other ladies who aspire to be like you know?Modeling / Entertainment business can be cutthroat. You have to get used to rejection and not landing certain deals. But you have to have grit, determination, and optimism or you’re going to be very disappointed. Get used to being told no, and also get used to a lot of people who will discourage you from following your dream. Keep a positive mindset. If you can do that… you’re well on your way. 4How was it like working with Miami Swim Week and also NYFW? Miami swim was both a dream and a nightmare. It was my first time walking in swim week and I walked for several huge brands. It was a life-changing experience for me, I loved being on the runway. NYFW was a dream, something I always wanted to do and it’s crazy actually living in a moment I once dreamed to be apart of. So much fun but crazy schedule of running around to be to shows and going to castings, meeting so many people, the parties. Barely anytime for rest.3Do you have brands in Africa you have worked with?I have not but I would love to and I know I will sometime in the future. 2What’s your current relationship status? And How do you deal with guys in your inbox?I’m open to connecting with a soul that matches mine. 1Before you go, What are your top 3 beauty/fitness secrets?1. Take care of your teeth. One of the first things people will see is your teeth. Brush them, floss, and get braces if you have to. But you only get one set of teeth, so protect them! 2. Take care of your body. Drink water! It’s the easiest thing we forget to do. Limit your intake of sugar and processed foods/Sodas. Work out 4x a week if you can. Exfoliate your skin. Watch what you put into your body. 3. Take care of your mental health. Protect your peace from people who are emotionally draining beware of the company that you keep its crucial to what can happen to you and for you in life. If your mental health is falling apart so will everything else around you.See More Bikini Baes Here. #BIKINIBAE: South Africa’s Premium Swimwear Sensation Pamala Hughes Is Serving Ravishing Bikini Looks#BIKINIEBAE: From Runway Royalty to InstaGlam Star; Meet Kiara Pike, The Fashion Universe’s Sizzling Muse!#BIKINIBAE: Meet Joanna James, The Afrolicious Model Redefining Swimwear Beauty#BIKINIBAE: Meet Assi Iman, The Prolific Guinean Model Exhibiting African Culture In Her Creative Works#BIKINIBAE: Check Out The Stunning Fitness & Swimwear Model Naeemah, Turning Heads On Social Media#BIKINIBAE: Meet Chasity Samone A Former Army Veteran With A Body To Die For#BIKINIBAE: Meet The Stunning Afrolicious Miami Model Briana Smith Slaying The Runway In All Haute Swimwear Looks#BIKINIBAE: Meet Nikitha Cornwall, The Bombshell Entrepreneur Who Empowers Women With Her Natural Hair Company#BIKINIBAE: Discover Allie Redmond, The Pretty Damsel So Elegantly Serving Viral Swimwear Looks#BIKINIEBAE: Ebony Beauty Angela Garten Is One Of The Most Alluring & Desirable Ladies To Slay In Swimwear Read More Like This On Outside Africa #BikiniBae UPCOMING TOP EVENTS!
