Naomi proved she would continue to be a cover model by making history and orchestrating the first self-isolated fashion shoot for the front cover of Essence magazine.
The iconic and legendary fashion model single-handedly self styles the shoot for the publication and coordinated the set up with Essense’s chief content and creative officer, MoAna Luu via facetime during the COVID-19 pandemic whilst in self-isolation.
Although it was the queen’s 7th time to grace the cover of Essence, what made this extra special was it was Essence 50th anniversary.
Amongst the various designs that she rocked, Ghana wasn’t left out of her personal choice when shooting herself. Naomi Campbell included Ghanaian fashion brand Stevie Frenchie in the mix.
Steve French Oduru, a talented fashion illustrator who won a coveted Gucci Fellowship in 2019 has always used his fashion to tell stories and make profound statements.
