In a heated moment, as in all pageants, the beautiful Maria Sawaneh was crowned the queen of all queens, Miss West Africa International on the 23rd of March 2013, Cape Verde Praia. The event saw 17 beautiful finalist from all over the world engage in the battle for the MWA International crown (see images here). The former Miss West Africa Germany is originally from the Gambia, but the evening dress that wowwed the judges on the night was made by none other than Ghanaian label Hall of Peters.
Hall Of Peters is a very successful label based in Ghana but not seen so much around the fashion circuit. In a recent discussion, he made it clear that fashion shows are not his cup of tea. He has a long list of very exclusive clients at which is solely attends to. With his shop based at Cantoment Accra, one can visit anyday and see a busy team of tailors at work stitching and cutting for Peter’s label.
In fact, Hall of Peters did not only sponsor the evening dress for the current Miss West Africa International, but also 3 other beauties on the night, this includes Miss West Africa Ghana, Miss West Africa Togo and also Miss West Africa Holland as shown below.
The first time we engaged with Hall of Peters was during their participation at the KNUST Fashion Week at which he was requested to exhibit at a special designer. We hope to see more of him on the runway in the near future. For now you can watch Hall of Peters on the KNUST Fashion Week video below.
