VIDEO: Watch The Moment Uganda’s ‘Ghetto Kids’ Wows ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Audience

Britain’s Got Talent returns to our screens tonight as more hopeful acts compete to take the top prize.

The popular ITV talent show comes back for its 16th series this month promising a life-changing grand prize for one of Britain’s most talented individuals.

The show hosted a new line of judges replacing comedian and actor, David Walliams. Strictly Come Dancing veteran Bruno Tonioli joins Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon on the panel as the Ant & Dec hosted show returns for its 16th series on the channel.

Everything from dancers and singers to comedians and magicians are hosted on the stage in the hopes of impressing the judges and earning a spot at this year’s Royal Variety Performance as well as a cash prize.

The Ghetto Kids, a popular group from Uganda, decided to give the show a go. The group already found international popularity through the social media Instagram page @ghettokids_tfug with over 3 million followers.

Ghetto Kids is a project by an orphanage in Uganda, using music, dance & drama to help disadvantaged, street & orphaned children, feed themselves and go to school. Through their dancing success, the founder has managed to cloth, feed, and pay for the tuition of kids in the orphanage.

The Ghetto Kids did more than try their luck, in fact, they surpass all acts on the show by getting the gold buzzer during the middle of their act.

Simon said: “That’s never actually happened. Normally the Golden Buzzer is pressed afterward. He gave you the Golden Buzzer and you performed in the confetti, it was wonderful.”

Bruno said: “I was literally exploding, you should be proud of yourselves, I can’t wait to see you back.” He also went backstage to see the kids and told them they should be in Hollywood”
