Kenyan’s fashion industry would soon be hit with another refreshing collaboration between global fashion brand and e-commerce store and fashion bloggers.
A hint was dropped by duo fashion bloggers, Vella Rossa and Oliver Asike of 2 Many Siblings announcing the collaboration with the retail store, ASOS on Instagram for “Made in Kenya” capsule collection.
2 Many Siblings is a brother and sister fashion duo whose got into famed for their epic style and for bringing Kenyan fashion to the fore. Together, they run Thrift Social Nairobi – a project of ‘physical celebrations of art and wearable things’.
‘So excited to share a little bit of the project we are doing in collaboration with Asos. Together with Leomie Anderson and Julie Adenuga, we will each be designing a capsule collection for their Made In Kenya SS18 line. This will be launched and made available for you sometime soon!’
The capsule collection will be part of the brand’s SS18 line and apparently the duo will design while the manufacturing will be handled by Soko Kenya, a clothing manufacturer that provides fair and safe training and employment for some of the country’s poorest communities.
British personnalities, Leomie Anderson and Julie Adenuga are also part of the project. 2 Many Siblings shared first looks of the collection and it will obviously feature jumpsuits & printed two-pieces.
