Hamamat who is a mother of two beautiful girls, Zuri and Sasa, has often shown her pride in being a mother publishing numerous images of her and her kids has hardly ever once shown an image of her and her partner or baby daddy. The Ghanaian beauty took to Instagram to share the joy as she sat by the poolside with the caption. We love you ❤️ Men are an important part of our society and they must be celebrated ❤️,” SO WHERE IS THE SHADE? Hamamat shared a beautiful message, and probably meant no harm or insult to men, but using her caption as a view of a wider societal approach to Father’s day. Why does Happy Father’s day have to come with ‘If, buts, Maybes’ or ultimatums? Why do we need to wish happy fathers day to ‘men who make us good mothers’. How irrelevant is that? Never once have we seen a post such as ‘Happy Mother’s day….to the women who make us good men’. Or happy mother’s day to responsible mothers. The exploitation of feminism extends to many corners and is far from relevant. Father already comes with a meaning. It’s not happy sperm donors day, happy dead beat father’s day, or happy men with kids day. It’s plain and simply ‘happy father’s day’, already embeded in the word is one who fathers his child. If you can not say those words out of your mouth without ultimatums or remixing it, then it’s best you don’t wish it at all. People wish women happy mother’s day even simply for the fact they were pregnant for nine months. No one says, Happy mothers day…if you never threw your baby in the gutter. Or Happy Mother’s day if you never gave your child up for adoption. Or happy mothers day if you make your husband a happy or good man. This is not a specific message to Hamamat, but one that goes to a wider segment of society that undermines the importance and the role of a father and simply can not show gratitude to fathers without ultimatums. Don’t let your inability to be a wife bring shade to a vital role in society. Read More Like This On Ghana Celebrity Watch UPCOMING PRIORITY EVENTS!
