For many that don’t know, the Fulani, also called Peul or Fulbe, are a people, primarily Muslim, scattered throughout many parts of West Africa, from Lake Chad, in the east, to the Atlantic coast. They are concentrated principally in Nigeria, Mali, Guinea, Cameroon, Senegal, and Niger.
They are amongst the largest ethnic groups in the Sahel and West Africa and the are definitely not foreign to the art of beauty with their own origin of black make up and jewelry. Enjoy the creative artwork below.
