Never underestimate the power of good styling, and especially that of good make up. Till now, Wendy Shay is still haunted by her style choice when she visited his excellency and ex-president Mr John Kufour last year wearing spandex pants and a spandex crop top (can you imagine?).
Well, rising Ghanaian star Eno Barony who has been on the scene for years, but recently saw her path to limelight by picking up a verbal battle with singer Sister Afia. She saw her popularity rise faster than one could imagine.
Shortly after that made her first celebrity guest appearance to the BET Ghana ambassador unveiling event. Like most girls out of the limelight that underestimate styling and makeup, she probably assumed she could take the task on, swift in and out of the event, and all will be well. Unfortunately for her, she was met with severe scrutiny. See the comments in the article below.
Ghanaian Rapper Eno Barony Slandered Relentlessly Online For Her Hideous Make Up, See Comments
Some of her harsh critics even compared Eno Barony to a man. In these modern times, there is hardly any musician that has seen the light of success and fame without beauty. Long gone are the days where women can rise to fame and popularity simply based on good music alone. This type of presentation could have easily placed a cap on the growth of this young Ghanaian talent.
However, it seems all of that is now nothing but a hidden memory in the eyes of the public. In fact, no one ever talks about it, all thanks to makeup brand Aligiina Makeover that fixed up the rapper most beautifully. Their work on Eno Barony went viral and proved the essential difference of getting the right makeup professionals, see some images below.
Again as said, Eno’s bad make up experience is nothing but a memory that never happened. Come to think of it, Wendy Shay’s criticism of bad styling could all disappear also if a great stylist was to be hired.
