Unlike other unorthodox brands, Jana Heinemann the founder and CEO of Impari Moda, secured room the ready-to-wear aesthetics of the brand. Making sure her unconventional approach to style can still work with day-to-day fashion. December marked their 2nd participation on Accra Fashion Week where the Berlin-based fashion label blew the lid off our roofs with their “11:11” Collection. The “11:11” collection is intended to describe the magical diversity in our society. The 11:11 collection was assembled with PET FOIL, which are Foils from old plastic bottles, and inside them were pieces of remaining fabrics from pattern cutting. All of which created a peculiar charm to the eye. The main creative brain behind the brand is Jana Heinemann. Impari doesn’t only mix different fabrics and prints, but also different styles. It works with its own created Zero Waste Technique and reuses all cutting waste to develop haute outfits. The goal of the Designer is to combine colors, originally and self-created prints with comfortability, sustainability, and individuality. The brand first witnessed itself extending its grasp to the Ghanaian and African fashion base when it first participated in Accra Fashion Week in 2020. Shortly after plans were made, then the coronavirus hit. Within the pandemic, Accra Fashion Week orchestrated its virtual edition, and below were the creative visuals produced by the brand. On the eve of 12th December 2021, the Ghanaian audience, which turned up in large amounts were blown away. Every piece of Impari has its own mix. The fashion of Impari is comfortable, colorful, and uneven, and the “11:11” collection is intended to describe the magical diversity in our society.
