Kidi Leaves A Remarkable Style Mark At The Grammys Laced In African Fashion Brands From Head To Toe

Ghanaian high-life and afro beats singer-songwriter Dennis Nana Dwamena, popularly known as KiDi or sugar daddy to a number of West African damsels, didn’t hesitate to leave his footprint at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

The 65th edition of the Annual Grammy Awards ceremony was held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 5, 2023. The event recognized artists of the eligibility year, running from October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2022.

A few prominent Ghanaian celebrities were in attendance such as Dentaa Ghana, Stonebwoy, Edem, and a few others. Amongst the said faces was also the ‘Touch It’ & ‘Shut Up’ hitmaker.

Although the artist hasn’t bagged a Grammy nomination as of yet, his hit song ‘Touch It’ of his Golden Boy album was nominated for the 2022 National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NACCP) Awards.

His two hits along, with the international success, prove there is more to talent than receiving a Grammy nomination, “If you know you know!”.

Nevertheless, none of this held him back from making a remarkable appearance at the 2023 edition of the Grammys. He adorned himself in 100% African fashion wearing a double-breasted lapel black suit by Abrantie the Gentleman, paired with shoes by Jésù Ségun London, a UK brand founded by Nigerian Andrew Mackenzie.
