In African street fashion, there are only a few jeans brand worn regularly that are African owned, Siatta Styles is definitely one of the few, if not the only in some countries. I was first introduced to Siatta style jeans when I came across a number of very bootylicious images on facebook with Ghanaian models as shown below.
Their campaign took off and soon became a known label in Ghana. It was well popularized to the extent I thought the brand originated in Ghana. Little did I know it was an international brand that was extending to Ghana. The amazing entrepreneur behind the brand is a young lady by the name of Siatta Kennedy. Siatta’s love for fashion and denim lead her to the making of Siatta Jeans. The company is originally a New York based company that started in 2005, and now extending its work to Africa.
Only a few months after launching the brand store in Accra Ghana, Siatta has now open for business in Monrovia Liberia at Bella Casa Hotel. 3rd street sinkor. Topfloor of event hall. And clients are already enjoying the benefits. Most fashionistas in Liberia are not only loving what Siatta jeans has to offer, but are also proud to see such a growing brand owned by a Liberian. Siatta jeans also trades in more than just jeans, one can find bags, hats, dresses and more under the label. Check out the images below and find more information here www.siattajeans.com.
