First impressions are key, whether you like it or not, your initial looks has a lot to do with you landing a job aside your brains and qualification. Your appearance is the first thing your interviewer will see so you must nail it perfectly.

More importantly, when you feel confident about your appearance, you’ll be able to focus on presenting your qualifications and experience.

The key to interview makeup is to keep it simple. This isn’t the time to experiment with your style.

Here are some practical tips for interview-appropriate makeup-

 

Keep your face- foundation,powder,contouring simple as possible. Less is more when it comes to makeup for an interview.

Use Lipstick instead of lip gloss, gloss is too shiny and gives a youthful impression. A nudes or light tones of lipstick will add sophistication to your looks. If you have  dry lips use an oily lipstick instead of a matte to prevent having cracked and flaky lips.

Use neutral eye shadow. stay away from bright and shiny colors.

Even if you are a pro, skip the liquid eyeliner and go with gel or a pencil instead.

Use a mascara for a pop of the eye, it will make you look more awake at the interview.
