Burundian Luxury Brand Margaux Wong Just Dropped A Fabulous Accessory Collection That Speaks To The Summer

Margaux Wong is a sustainable handmade luxury accessory brand based in Belgium with artisans in Burundi Africa. The brand was founded by designer Margaux Rusita who is originally from Guyana. The brand uses raw materials such as cow horns, brass, and a selection of ethically sourced materials for their pieces rescuing waste and preserving traditional craft in the process. The brand recently release its latest collection for 2021.

According To The Brand

Across both the Daisy & Veronica artwear pieces, the classic tension of a black & white palette evokes timeless beauty and brings designs to life. Design inspiration came partly
from the 1930s, an era of whimsical fashion with a delicate expression of femininity. The ‘30s carried the Great Depression, one of the world’s darkest ages, and also carried the blossoming of jazz, the blues and the art deco style. The 1930s were, like this collection, a living juxtaposition of melancholy and joy.
